The woman is ballerina.

I wanted to break the sterotype of ballerina; weak, pure, elegant, smilly..etc.

My ballerina is different.

She is tough.

She rides a big motorcycle to go for a practice.

She wears leather tight skinny pants and fur jacket.

She wears green ankel boots.

She is cool, but she is still a great ballerina.

Venice is the one of the cities I want to visit before I die.  

I am fancinated how the buildings are partially submerged in the water!!

Not only that, the gondola!!

Isn't Venice such a  romantic place?

One day, I was goggling some images of Venice and something pop up in my head.

It was a photograph of Venetian mask carnival that I kept in my computer.

So, instead of looking images of Venice, I started goggling images of Venetian mask carnival.

And I drew some of the masks I found very cool on my drawing notebook. :)

One day, I will visit Venice, and purchase or make my own mask,

and take a picture of myself with the mask with the beautiful scenary of Venice :P

A girl used to live and siwm in a fish bowl.

She thought there is no other places bigger than the fish bowl!

But one day, she saw the world outside of the bowl and wanted to escape.

Since then, the fish bowl was never big.

She wanted to swim in the ocean with cool breeze. 

And she did swim out of a fish bowl.

Welcome, girl.

[drawing] peacock and eyes

When I was in Grade 6, I was passionate in reading books about Greek mythology.

Out of hundreds stories I read, I can vividly remember the story of 100 eyed monster named Argos.

The Queen of godness, Hera put 100 eyes of Argoes on the tail of peacock, which is her sacred bird. 

First, this story grossed me out, yet, I found it very interesting.

So, I drew a picture of peacock with eyes one it. 

I drew the peacock, then on another seperate piece of paper, I draw several eyes (with make ups lol :P)

I cut the eyes then glue them on the peacock!

I am very satisfied with the finished drawing and hope you also enjoy it!

[magazine collage] puzzle



When I was Grade 8--maybe Grade 9, can't remember when exactly.. :-|  

my art teacher gave us a project that

every student in her class will make a collage puzzle like the one that I made.

Then, my teacher would put all of the puzzles together and display it on the parent-teacher-interview day.

She selected my puzzles that has "COOL" on it. She really liked mine. :P

The puzzle that has "FUN" on it is the extra one that I made in the class.

My pace in finishing the project was faster than other students. So, I decided to make another one. lol

After She returned the puzzle to me, I put the two pieces of puzzles togther like the first picture

and put it on the back of my room door.

My mother loved it. And so do I. 

After three years, I made another one(second picture).

I used ELLE CANADA and H&M magazine. 

The puzzle seems more clam and sentimental compare to previous ones.

The previous ones are more juvenilent, naive, and vibrant.  

My mother loved it. And so do I.

This collage took me about three weeks to complete it.

I could have finished this collage in one day, but I had to keep up with my studying and other activities.

First, I draw the sketch of cameleon by seeing one of the cameleon photograph I found in the image, goggle.

**I tried to find the original photograph, but couldn't find it.

If I get to find the original photograph, I will make sure to upload it!! 

After I completed the sketch, I started to hole punch the colours I need for cameleon.

As you can see, I used many green colours; light green, pastel green, dark green, blue-light green(???)

something like that and to other colours too.

Again, I used the photograph of cameleon to match the colours as real as possible. 

(I really wish I could find the original photograph of cameleon that I saw!!)

I basically used the photo as a "guide".

The cameleon reminds me my old friend who had cameleon as her pet. lol

I wanted to draw Asian, mysterious style lady in the beginning

but I am not sure how and where things has gone differently. :|

However, I still love how the painting ended up!

I used ipod touch, application named "My Paint".
As you can expect, you can draw and paint by using this application.

I used many other similiar applications, but I couldn't find one that is better than this one.

I think it's a great application for anyone who wants to draw things in ipod touch!
